OAKLAND, Calif. -- Defendants in a California case scheduled for trial in November have filed several dispositive motions, among them those seeking dismissal of the plaintiff's failure-to-warn and false representation claims. In re: Welding Products Cases, No. JCCP 004368 (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
Some of the motions, all filed recently in the Alameda County Superior Court, seek the complete dismissal of Val and Patricia King's complaint for failure to prove causation.
Trial in the King case is scheduled to begin on Nov. 19.
