Three More Calif. Silica Cases Set for Trial in 2008

OAKLAND, Calif. - A judge in California has set three new silica cases for trial, bringing the total number of cases expected to be tried in the next 18 months to seven. Dodgen v. Lone Star Industries, et al., No. RG05210509; Brown v. Lone Star Industries, et al., No. RG05210447; Hall v. Lone Star Industries, et al., No. RG05210531 (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
Alameda County Superior Court Judge Robert Freedman entered the order July 20, ordering trial settings in Dodgen, Brown, and Hall. They will all be tried in 2008 on Aug. 22, Oct. 24 and Dec. 19, respectively, …
