MT. VERNON, Ill. -- An Illinois plaintiff is backing a trial court's decision to award a new trial in a welding fume case, citing 457,000 pages of missing documents and an undisclosed $600,000 in funding allegedly connected to studies cited by defense experts. Winterman v. BOC Group, et al., No. 5-06-0679 (Ill. App. Ct., 5th Dist.).
