Defendants Complete Review of Record in Interlocutory Appeal Petition

JACKSON, Miss. -- Sources told HarrisMartin that the defendants have completed their review of the record in an appeal pending in the Mississippi Supreme Court on issues stemming from aiding and abetting claims. Caterpillar Inc. and General Electric Co. v. Smith, et al., No. 2006-M-01678-SCT (Miss. Sup. Ct.).

Sources indicated that the Hinds County (Miss.) Circuit Court clerk completed the records in the appeal and that the plaintiffs are currently reviewing the record. After the plaintiffs complete their review, a briefing schedule will be set by the high court, sources said.
