Several West Virginia Courts Schedule Trials in Welding Cases

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Courts in four West Virginia counties have scheduled welding fume trials throughout 2008, with the earliest scheduled to take place in December 2007.
The circuit courts of Wayne, Mingo, Putnam and Logan county have set the trial dates in a total of five cases that involve more than 30 plaintiffs, sources told HarrisMartin.
The Wayne County Circuit Court set Collins (No. 06-C-270), which includes seven plaintiffs, for trial in December 2007, sources said. The Barcus (No. 06-C-265) lawsuit, which includes eight plaintiffs, has also been scheduled to begin trial in August 2008 in the Wayne County Circuit …
