OAKLAND -- Parties involved in the California welding fume litigation have outlined final deadlines in what is expected to be the first case to proceed to trial in the coordinated docket. In re: Welding Products Cases, No. JCCP004368 (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
On March 16, the parties filed a stipulation in the Alameda County Superior Court immediately commencing expert discovery, and set deadlines for expert admissibility challenges in anticipation of the November trial date in the welding fume claims brought by Val King.
The parties are to close expert discovery on July 23; file Kelly/Frye challenges by July …
