EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. -- A judge who indicated his intent to interview two jurors who plaintiffs contend wrongfully engaged in phone and e-mail conversations during deliberations in welding fume trial is currently overseeing a Vioxx trial and is not expected to conduct the interviews until that trial is completed, sources told HarrisMartin. Haskell v. BOC Group, et al., No. 04-L-1152 (Ill. 3rd Jud. Ct., Madison Cty.).
Judge Daniel Stack of Illinois' Third Judicial Circuit Court for Madison County is overseeing the Vioxx trial, which began March 1 with oral arguments and is expected to end the week of March 26.
