Mississippi Welding Fume Admissibility Hearings Moving Forward

JACKSON, Miss. -- Hearings on expert admissibility in a Mississippi welding fume case are scheduled to take place the week of Feb. 19, sources told HarrisMartin. Smith, et al. v. Lincoln Electric Co., et al. No. 05-001082 (Miss. Cir. Ct., Hinds Cty.).
The Mississippi Circuit Court for Hinds County will oversee arguments in anticipation of an April 2007 trial for plaintiffs Troy Smith, John Thompson and James White.
The welding fume plaintiffs were scheduled as the second trial setting for February, but were delayed by a lawsuit unrelated to the welding fume litigation that occupied the court's first February trial …
