MDL Judge Schedules Class Certification Hearing

CLEVELAND -- The judge overseeing the Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation has scheduled a hearing on class certification in a federal welding fume case. In re: Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1535 (N.D. Ohio).

In a Feb. 6 order, Judge Kathleen M. O'Malley of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio also designated a new batch of 59 cases to be worked up for medical discovery.
