Plaintiff Seeks New Trial in Welding Case that Ended in Defense Verdict

GALVESTON, Texas -- A female welding fume plaintiff whose Parkinsonism claims ended in a defense verdict last year is seeking a new trial, sources told HarrisMartin. Montalbano, et al. v. Lincoln Electric, et al., No 03CV0801 (Texas 56th Dist. Ct., Galveston Cty.).
Sources indicated that a motion for a new trial in what was believed to be the first female welder case to proceed to trial was filed the week of Jan. 22 in the Texas 56th District Court for Galveston County.
