CLEVELAND -- Defendants in the Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation continue to oppose a common issues trial, saying that it only reflects the plaintiffs' attempts to "make this litigation go away as quickly as possible." In re: Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1535 (N.D. Ohio).
In the Jan. 16 surreply filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the defendants claim that the plaintiffs are ignoring the progress already made in the MDL under the current case management initiatives.
