2 More Calif. Cases Set for Trial Voluntarily Dismissed

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Two more welding fume cases in the first California trial group have been voluntarily dismissed, leaving one case in the trial setting that originally included eight. In re: Welding Products Cases, JCCP No. 4368 (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
Sources told HarrisMartin that the claims of Robert Cole and James Krudwig were voluntarily dismissed on Jan. 16. The dismissals leave the claims of Val King as the lone case scheduled to proceed to the first California welding fume trial in the Alameda County Superior Court. King's trial has been scheduled for June 4.
