JACKSON, Miss. - Several defendants in a Mississippi silica case have filed preliminary designations, identifying nearly 100 expert and fact witnesses that may be called to testify at trial. Trotter v. Pulmosan Safety Equipment, et al., No. 06-619 (S.D. Miss.).
Mine Safety Appliances, Pauli & Griffin Co., Inc., Pulmosan Safety Equipment Co., and Mississippi Valley Silica Co. Inc. filed the lists Jan. 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi.
