OAKLAND, Calif. -- The parties involved in the coordinated California welding fume docket have filed briefs indicating that they disagree on the role the Bay Bridge welder plaintiffs play in the court's trial calendar, with the plaintiffs insisting that since these claimants make up the majority of the plaintiff pool, it is logical for those claims to be tried first. In re: Welding Products Cases, No. JCCP004368 (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
