CLEVELAND - Defendants in the Ohio silica litigation have asked the court to order plaintiffs to submit a complete list of all pending silica cases currently in their inventories, along with evidence that the claimants suffer from a silica-related impairment. In Re: Silica Master Docket, Special Docket No. 073958S (Ohio Comm. Pls., Cuyahoga Cty.).
In a motion filed Nov. 9 in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court, the defendants contend that the order and resulting tally will assist them and the court in administrating the silica claims in a manner consistent with the docket's governing case management order.
