JACKSON, Miss. - Defendants have appealed four recent decisions by state court judges who denied motions for sanctions against plaintiffs' law firms they accused of 'multiplying' the federal silica MDL proceedings with allegedly fraudulent claims. McDuff, et al. v. Aearo, et al., No. 02-101 (Miss. Cir. Ct., Sharkey Cty.); Braxton, et al. v. Aearo, et al., No. 02-016 (Miss. Cir. Ct., Issaquena Cty.); Baldwin, et al. v. Graco Enterprises Inc., et al., No. 2002-429 (Miss. Cir. Ct., Noxubee Cty.); Prince, et al. v. Pearl River Sand & Gravel Co. Inc., et al., No. 2002-430 (Miss. Cir. Ct., Noxubee Cty.).
