EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - The eight remaining defendants in an Illinois man's welding fume injury case are opposing the plaintiff's motion for a new trial, asserting that the "mere fact that the jury found against him does not justify a second bite at the apple." Boren v. A.O. Smith Corp. No. 01-L-886 (Ill. 3rd Jud. Cir. Ct., Madison Cty.).
