Court Rejects Joinder Argument in Foundry Workers' Case

LOS ANGELES - A California court has rejected a defense motion to dismiss the claims of several former foundry workers who alleged in the same lawsuit that they suffered from lung-related injuries as a result of exposure to silica, asbestos and aluminum dust. Beltran v. J.R. Simplot Co., et al., No. BC356257 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
