Miss. Trial Setting Delayed; Admissibility Hearings Slated for Feb. 2007

JACKSON, Miss. -- A lawsuit unrelated to the welding fume litigation has bumped a hearing on expert admissibility in claims asserted by several Mississippi welding fume plaintiffs, sources told HarrisMartin. Smith, et al. v. Lincoln Electric Co., et al. No. 05-001082 (Miss. Cir. Ct., Hinds Cty.).
The claims, which were slotted as the second trial setting in February 2007, are now scheduled to proceed to trial in April 2007 in the Mississippi Circuit Court for Hinds County.
