Texas Jury Finds for Several Defendants in Female Welding Fume Trial

GALVESTON, Texas -- A Texas jury has found for several defendants in what is believed to be the first female welder case to proceed to trial. Montalbano, et al. v. Lincoln Electric, et al., No 03CV0801 (Texas 56th Dist. Ct., Galveston Cty.).
The 56th District Court for Galveston County jury reached the unanimous verdict Nov. 15 after two-and-a-half weeks of trial before Judge Lonnie Cox. The jury deliberated for less than three hours.
