Court Allows Plaintiff to Add Employers to Complaint

CLEVELAND -- An Ohio plaintiff has filed an amended complaint adding his former employers as defendants in his welding fume action. Boyd v. Lincoln Electric Co., et al., No. CV-04-545413 (Ohio Ct. Comm. Pls., Cuyahoga Cty.).
Sources said that the amended complaint was filed Oct. 4 in the Ohio Court of Common Pleas for Cuyahoga County and included several employer defendants, including Babcock & Wilcox Construction Co. and APCom Power Inc.
Sources also indicated that when granting the plaintiff's motion to amend the lawsuit, the court asked the parties to draft a new scheduling order, which would include a new …
