CLEVELAND -- Defendants in the Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation MDL have opposed a plaintiff motion to consolidate the remaining MDL cases for a common issues trial, saying that the motion is a request to put the welding industry on trial without the involvement of any real plaintiff.
