Ark. Jury Finds for Defendants in Welding Fume Injury Case

EL DORADO, Ark. - An Arkansas jury has found for the defendants in what was the state's first welding fume trial, HarrisMartin Publishing is reporting. Calloway v. Lincoln Electric Co., et al. No. CV04-0473-6 (Ark. Cir. Ct., Union Cty.).
The Union County Circuit Court jury returned the verdict on Aug. 30, after a three-week trial and two days of deliberations in Ronald Calloway's trial. Calloway claimed his exposure to welding fumes caused his neurological injuries.
