5 of 8 Calif. Cases Set for Trial Voluntarily Dismissed

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Five of the eight California welding fume cases scheduled for trial have been voluntarily dismissed by the plaintiffs, sources told HarrisMartin. In re: Welding Products Cases, JCCP No. 4368 (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
Sources indicated that a Case Management Conference Hearing is set for late August, where the parties will determine whether those five cases will be replaced, or if a new set of cases will be set for trial.
