Philly Judge Sides with Plaintiffs on Limitations, Impairment Issues




PHILADELPHIA - The judge overseeing the Philadelphia silica docket recently dealt defendants a series of setbacks on motions seeking dismissal of claims asserted by silica plaintiffs who had also maintained that they suffered from asbestos-related injuries. Sulkowski v. Empire Abrasive Equipment Corp., et al., No. Aug. Term 2002 No. 2248 (Pa. Comm. Pls., Philadelphia Cty.); Frankenfield v. U.S. Silica, et al., No. 0208-2252 (Pa. Comm.
