Silica Plaintiffs to Appeal Calif. Equipment, Compressor Ruling

SAN FRANCISCO - Plaintiffs in a California silica case have indicated they intend to appeal a decision that dismissed with prejudice their claims against several heavy equipment and air compressor manufacturers. Dye, et al. v. Caterpillar Equipment Inc., et al., No. 436109 (Calif. Super. Ct., San Francisco Cty.).
In a Notice of Appeal filed July 14 in San Francisco Superior Court, Donald and Valerie Dye said they are appealing the decision to the First Appellate District of the California Court of Appeal.
