Sources: First Female Welder's Trial Continued to Oct. 30

HOUSTON -- Sources told HarrisMartin Publishing that the first female welder's case to go to trial has been continued to Oct. 30. Montalbano, et al. v. Lincoln Electric, et al., No 03CV0801 (Texas 56th Dist. Ct., Galveston Cty.).

Sources said the trial was continued from July 31 to allow more time to conduct expert depositions. Catherine Godwin, the first Montalbano plaintiff scheduled for trial, was originally scheduled for trial May 8, but discovery complaints continued the trial to July 31, plaintiff counsel L. Jeth Jones told HarrisMartin.
