CHARLESTON, W.Va. - A West Virginia man has moved to consolidate 13 cases, saying the plaintiffs have sued the same 13 defendants and each allege neurological injury as a result of exposure to welding fumes. Skiles v. Lincoln Electric Co., et al. No. 03-C-2299 (W.Va. Cir. Ct., Kanawha Cty.).
In West Virginia's Circuit Court of Kanawha County, Curtis R. Skiles moved to consolidate for trial purposes 12 other Kanawha County actions with his case, saying the claims involve common issues of law and fact.
