SAN FRANCISCO - A state court judge has dismissed claims against several heavy equipment and air compressor defendants in a silica case, finding that the plaintiff failed to sufficiently allege that his silica-related injuries were caused by the defendants' products. Dye, et al. v. Caterpillar Equipment Inc., et al., No. 436109 (Calif. Super. Ct., San Francisco Cty.).
