CLEVELAND - An Ohio appeals court has dismissed appeals filed by two doctors who were ordered by a trial court to produce documents related to their silicosis screening operations. Purdy, et al. v. Air Liquide America, et al., No. CV-03-506483 (Ohio Ct. App., Eighth App. Dist.).
In a Journal Entry issued April 3, the Eighth District Court of Appeals dismissed the appeal sua sponte, citing a lack of final appealable order.
'There is no signed journal entry nor any showing as to why an order of discovery would be subject to interlocutory appeal,' the entry said.
