HOUSTON - Further guidance has been provided to silica litigants in Texas, after the judge overseeing the state MDL recently issued a supplement to the court-recommended checklist for medical reports and documentation. In Re: Texas State Silica Products Liability Litigation, No. 2004-70000 (Texas Dist. Ct., Harris Cty.).

Harris County District Court Judge Tracy Christopher issued the supplement March 27 as an addendum to a Sept. 14 medical documentation checklist aimed at bringing claims into compliance with Senate Bill 15, a law that created minimum medical criteria for asbestos and silica lawsuits.
