OAKLAND, Calif. - The California office of a firm based in Texas has been associated in as counsel of record in a silica case where a separate Texas firm was disqualified after seeking permission to appear pro hac vice in numerous related cases. Brown v. Lone Star Industries, et al., No. RG05-210447 (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
According to a notice filed March 28 in Alameda County Superior Court, Cheryl L. White of Brent Coon & Associates has been associated as counsel in Brown v. Lone Star Industries, one of nearly four dozen silica cases pending in Alameda County.
