OAKLAND, Calif. - In an April 3 joint case management conference statement, the parties in the California coordinated welding litigation said they have yet to agree on a method of selecting trial candidates. In re Welding Product Cases. JCCP No. 4368. (Calif. Sup. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
The parties filed their joint case management conference statement in the Alameda Superior Court in preparation for their April 10 case management conference. While the plaintiffs said certain claimants from the predetermined groups, specifically Groups 1 and 2, should be chosen, the defendants said the court should pick the plaintiffs at random.
