Sources: Argument on Boren Retrial Motion Continued to May 18

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. -- Sources told HarrisMartin Publishing that argument on a motion for retrial in an Illinois man's welding fume case was recently continued to May 18, five months after the jury found for the defense. Boren v. A.O. Smith Corp., et al., No. 00-L-886 (Ill. 3rd Jud. Cir. Ct., Madison Cty.).

Sources said argument was originally scheduled to be heard March 10 and a conflict for the judge caused the delay [See Story in Litigation Watch: Welding Fumes, March 2006].
