CLEVELAND -- An Ohio court has administratively dismissed all asbestos actions in which Dr. Ray Harron or Dr. James Ballard provided the only B-read relied upon for diagnosis. In re: All Asbestos Cases, Special Docket No. 073958 (Ohio Ct. Comm. Pls., Cuyahoga Cty.).

In the March 22 order, the Ohio Court of Common Pleas for Cuyahoga County noted that it was unlikely that Drs. Harron and Ballard would testify at any hearing or trial and that any plaintiff dismissed as a result of the ruling would retain the right to petition the court for placement on the active docket.
