Appeal of 2004 Denial of Motions to Dismiss and Sever Still Pending

ATLANTA -- Parties have yet to file briefs in the interlocutory appeal of a 2004 decision in which a state court judge denied motions to dismiss or sever claims filed by approximately 340 plaintiffs in seven welding fume lawsuits. Lincoln Electric Company, et al. v. Long, et al., No. A05I0028 (Ga. Ct. App.).

Sources told HarrisMartin that the record has not yet been sent to the Court of Appeals, a briefing schedule has not yet been established and the briefs have not yet been filed.
