CLEVELAND - The welding fume MDL defendants are seeking order requiring the dismissal of claims by plaintiffs who have not been diagnosed with a neurological injury as their complaints allege. In re: Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation. Case No. 1:03-cv-17000. MDL No. 1535 (N.D. Ohio).

On Jan. 6, the welding fume MDL defendants urged the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio to either require plaintiffs to produce certification by a physician not involved in the MDL that they have a neurological disorder, or dismiss their claims.
