HOUSTON - Defendants in the Texas silica litigation have begun filing objections to medical reports issued on behalf of plaintiffs who allege that they have been diagnosed with silicosis severe enough to warrant proceeding to trial. Coleman, et al. v. Air Liquide America, et al., No. 2004-69065 (Texas Dist. Ct., Harris Cty.).
Sources told HarrisMartin Publishing that only a handful of medical reports were submitted on behalf of plaintiffs, whose cases are now being transferred to the state silica MDL in Houston.
