ANGLETON, Texas -- A Texas appeals court has denied a writ of mandamus filed by defendants following a recent decision to award a new trial in a welding fume case that ended in a defense verdict. In re: Lincoln Electric Co., et al., No. 14-05-01081-CV (Texas 14th Ct. App.).
In a one-page order released Nov. 23, the Fourteenth Court of Appeals stated that the defendants had not established that they are entitled to mandamus relief.
