INDIANAPOLIS - A case management order governing the dozens of silica-related lawsuits filed in Indiana state court is expected to be proposed and ruled on in January, sources told HarrisMartin Publishing. In re: Marion County Mass Tort Litigation, No. 49D02-9501-MI-1 (Ind. Super. Ct., Marion Cty., Div. 2).
According to a court source, counsel involved in approximately 40 silica-related complaints pending in Marion County Superior Court met Oct. 17 and agreed to propose a CMO on Jan. 23. A decision is expected to be made on the entry of a CMO one week later.
