The following exchanges were excerpted from the deposition of Dr. Jay T. Segarra that occurred May 23, 2005 in Biloxi, Miss. Dr. Segarra was being deposed in four cases brought by plaintiffs who alleged injuries caused by exposure to silica. The cases were all filed in state court in Texas.
