Welding Defendants Ask Court to Stay Cases Pending Transfer to the MDL

ST. LOUIS - The welding defendants in two Missouri welding fume cases have asked the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri to stay all proceedings pending transfer to the Welding Fume MDL. Bennett v. Air Products & Chemicals, et al. No. 05CV01912CEJ (E.D. Mo.); Dunn, et al. v. Air Products & Chemicals, et al. No. 05CV01913HEA (E.D. Mo.).

The defendants said the lawsuits are similar to claims presented by the Welding Fume MDL plaintiffs in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, and believe the cases will eventually be transferred.
