Pa. Couple Says Husband Developed Parkinsonism From Welding Fume Exposure

PHILADELPHIA - A Pennsylvania couple sued five welding rod manufacturers on Oct. 3 for injuries allegedly sustained as a result of exposure to manganese-containing welding fumes emitted by the companies' products. Bruce G. Simpson, et al. v. Lincoln Electric Holdings Inc., et al. No. 2:05-cv-05200 (E.D. Pa.).
Bruce and Lisa Simpson sued Lincoln Electric Holdings Inc., Hobart Brothers Co., The ESAB Group Inc., Linde Gas and Murex Welding Products in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
