NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A Tennessee man has filed a welding fume lawsuit in federal court, claiming that his Parkinson's disease diagnosis was caused by exposure to welding fumes. Alexander v. A.O. Smith Corp., et al., No. 05-0720 (M.D. Tenn.).
Plaintiff Phillip Alexander contends in the Sept. 15 filing that he was exposed to hazardous welding fumes while employed in Tennessee, and that this exposure caused him to develop neurological and physical damage. The complaint was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.
