Pending Case in Los Angeles County Added On and Transferred to Alameda County

OAKLAND, Calif. - A pending welding products case in Los Angeles County was added on and transferred to the coordinated cases in Alameda County on Sept. 16 because the judge said the plaintiffs allege similar causes of action and theories of liability. Knute and Amber L. Holm v. A.O. Smith Corp., et al. No. BC 337170 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).

Eighteen plaintiffs have been added to the California Superior Court for Alameda County's coordinated welding fume cases in the last few weeks. (JCCP No. 4368). All 18 plaintiffs' cases originated in California's Superior Court for Los Angeles County.
