EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - Defendants in a silica personal injury case in Illinois have asked a state court judge to send the case to a nearby county under the doctrine of intrastate forum non conveniens, asserting that the county where it is currently filed has very little to do with the matter. Edwards v. 3M Co., et al., No. 03 L 1888 (Ill. Cir. Ct., Madison Cty.).
