Manville Trust Arm Cites MDL Silica Order in Decision to No Longer Accept Diagnoses

ARLINGTON, Va. - The administrative arm of the Johns Manville Personal Injury Trust has announced that it is no longer accepting medical reports prepared by several doctors and screening companies that have recently come under scrutiny by the federal silica MDL. In Re: Suspension of Acceptance of Medical Records, No. n/a (CRMC).
In a statement issued Sept. 12, Claims Resolution Management Corp. President David Austern suspended acceptance of the reports pending completion of a federal grand jury and congressional investigation into the litigation where the doctors and facilities have been questioned.
