Calif. Welding Fume Plaintiffs File Amended Master Complaint

OAKLAND, Calif. - The plaintiffs in California's Welding Product Cases recently filed an amended master complaint, refuting arguments that their claims are 'uncertain' and barred by the statute of limitations. Welding Product Cases. JCCP No. 4368, (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).

The plaintiffs have sued A.O. Smith Corp., Airco Inc., BOC Financial Corp., Caterpillar Inc., ESAB Group Inc., General Electric Co., Hobart Brothers Co., Illinois Tool Workers Inc., Lincoln Electric Co., McKay Welding Products, Rankin Industries Inc., Stoody Co., Thermadyne Holding Corp. and others in the California Superior Court for Alameda County.
