OAKLAND, Calif. - Plaintiffs in a California silica case have reportedly stipulated to filing a first amended complaint and said they would allow for an extension to answer some 33 other similar complaints until after a decision is made on a defense demurrer and motion to strike that has been filed in the matter. Brown v. Lone Star Industries Inc., et al., No. RG 05-210447 (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
