Defendants Ask Court to Exclude Plaintiff Expert's 'Irrelevant' Testimony




CLEVELAND - The Welding Fume MDL defendants asked the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio on Aug. 12 to support its motion to exclude a plaintiff expert's testimony, saying that his report is 'irrelevant' and based solely on opinion. In re: Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation. MDL Docket No. 1535. Case No. 1:03-cv-17000 (N.D. Ohio.).

The defendants said that plaintiff expert Dr. Glenn W. Harrison believes that the welding industry has participated in 'unacceptable lobbying activities' in regard to regulations affecting the health and well-being of welders.
